iPhone SE 5G to be launched at Apple’s March event

Apple may hold its first special event of 2022 in March or April, which will take place online and is the time when the new generation iPhone SE is rumored to launch.

According to AppleInsider, in the recent Power On news from Mark Gurman on Bloomberg, he said that the first virtual event of 2022 organized by Apple is likely to happen in March or April. This time period is not too unusual. It’s surprising when Apple often chooses to launch its first products of the year.

Since 2014, Apple has had product launches in March every year, whereas last year, the majority of product launches were based on press releases, and very rarely any announcements take place. in January or February.

Gurman’s source said that the new generation iPhone SE equipped with 5G will be the focus of Apple’s first event in 2022. He also agrees with the leaked information in recent device reports, with the device keeping the same appearance as the iPhone SE 2022 version but containing internal hardware upgrades.

Besides the 5G iPhone SE the first, Apple may also introduce a number of new products at the event, including the launch of Apple’s Silicon-based computer models like the new Mac mini or MacBook Air.

After the spring special, Gurman said Apple’s second major launch event will be WWDC in June, where the company announces its usual operating system updates. Instead of switching back to face-to-face, however, Gurman believes it’s “almost certain” that it will just be an online event.
