LG Display will produce LTPO OLED screens for iPhone 14 “

LG Display is said to have succeeded in taking a small percentage of the OLED LTPO TFT screen ratio for the iPhone 14 from Samsung.

According to AppleInsider, this new order follows previous reports of LG Display’s ambitions to produce TFT LTPOs for Apple. This technology display was used in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max when it was exclusively provided by Samsung. The LTPO TFT OLED allows for a 120 Hz refresh rate and is used by Apple as part of its ProMotion technology.
