Microsoft admitted that the update caused Windows 10 to have confusing problems

Microsoft has acknowledged a bug affecting the right-click function on the Windows 10 taskbar post recent updates. This bug triggers an unexpected “Open with…” menu instead of the usual features list menu when users right-click on a pinned application. Although it impacts only a small number of users and specific applications, it has appeared in several recent updates, including the June, May, and April cumulative updates.

Microsoft has identified the issue and is working on a fix anticipated to be released in an upcoming Windows 10 22H2 update. While the specific release date is unknown, the patch is expected to be included in the June optional update, before the official July update.

It’s interesting to note that Microsoft continues to actively develop Windows 10, adding new features and even reintroducing the Beta channel for testing purposes, although the operating system will cease to receive support in October 2025.
