Microsoft Edge integrates additional optimization mode for performance

Microsoft made the Edge Chromium browser as light as possible, but now the company has new plans. A new setting called Performance Mode will soon be added to the browser to save more resources on your computer.

Windows Latest has discovered this feature in Edge Canary 91 browser. When you turn it on, it optimizes the browser’s CPU usage, RAM, and battery usage, so it will have less of an impact. Your computer’s resources. But the company says Performance Mode’s effectiveness largely depends on how you use the browser.

Since this new feature is in the Canary build, you won’t see it on the browser’s official channel. Canary features are typically released in the right time, however, so you won’t have to wait too long.

This isn’t the first time the Redmond giant has added performance features to its browser. Recently, the “rest” mode for inactive tabs was released after a period of public testing.
