Microsoft launches family protection application

After several months of testing, Microsoft finally released a family Safety app. However, due to Apple’s limitations, it currently doesn’t work on iOS. According to PhoneArena, Family Safety users can limit screen time for their children. Focus on other things. Users can add more time to games or educational applications as needed.

More importantly, users can use search filters to block adult content on the web. This feature works with Microsoft Edge on Android devices and allows users to set search capabilities for child-friendly websites with a list of websites that are allowed or blocked.

Location sharing is another great feature available on Family Safety. It allows users to view the last known location of each family member on the map. Like other companies, Microsoft claims family location data will not be sold or shared with data brokers.

In addition, Family Safety includes a new feature that helps block or unblock specific applications, allowing users to control which applications children are allowed to use.

Finally, Microsoft says two new premium features will be added in the coming months, including Safe Driving (available only in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia) and location alerts. The company also confirmed it is trying to provide options to set time and content filters to the iPhone.
