Microsoft will support Windows 11 on new Macs

Microsoft has officially announced that new Mac users using Apple Silicon chips can run Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise operating systems through Parallels Desktop 18.

According to Engadget , using the camera to run Windows 11 on a newer Mac won’t bother IT managers. However, there are certain limitations with this. Users cannot run 32-bit ARM applications, in part because Microsoft does not support 32-bit for all Windows ARM builds.

Devices won’t work unless they have Windows 11 ARM drivers. Users also cannot use anything that depends on another virtualization layer, such as Android apps, Linux operating systems, and Windows Sandbox. It also cannot run some games.

In fact, users will be able to run Windows 11 via Parallels on ARM Macs starting in 2021, but at that point, users will need to be running the Insider version of the operating system, and Microsoft adds that they don’t have it. plans to support new Macs for Windows 11. Now, Microsoft has gone back on its claims. Downloading and installing Windows 11 on Parallels Desktop 18 is also quite easy.

It is not clear how Microsoft has changed the license because in the past, the company only licensed ARM versions of Windows directly to PC vendors. Regardless of the reason, this will give Mac users a lot of advantages to being able to run productivity apps found on Windows.
