More than 100 million credit card information was posted by hackers on the Dark Web

Hackers have hacked and leaked hundreds of millions of users’ debit information around the world on Dark Web sites.

Cybersecurity attacks to steal sensitive information are not new in the world of security. Attackers often exploit vulnerabilities and steal encrypted information from server systems. And according to the latest news, the confidential information of more than 100 million credit card users was on the Dark Web.

As per the data got, this spilled information contains numerous individual data of the client, for example, name, telephone number, email address, and the first and last four digits of the credit/debit card. As per security specialists, the attackers stole this data from a service called Juspay. Juspay announced earlier that the attackers had access to confidential customer data between March 2017 and August 2020. But they cannot find complete payment information or transaction-specific data, the data are just various sensitive information such as obscure credit card numbers and expiration dates.

It’s worth noting that Juspay processes thousands of transactions per day, serving popular services like Swiggy, Amazon, MakeMyTrip … Which means where the data of those already using the service could be. that is in more than 100 million leaks mentioned above.

According to security researchers, hackers are trying to sell this information for high prices and mainly demand payment in Bitcoin virtual currency.
