Apple has announced that new software updates for AirPods are set to launch this fall, promising to revolutionize the way users interact with Siri. The updates will introduce Siri Interactions, a feature that allows AirPods Pro users to privately respond to Siri by simply nodding their heads yes or no, without the need to use their hands.
In addition to this, the updates will bring Voice Isolation mode to AirPods Pro, ensuring clear voice transmission even in noisy environments and windy conditions. There will also be improvements in audio latency during gaming, providing a more customized gaming experience, along with the introduction of custom spatial audio.
Thanks to machine learning on the H2 chip, Siri Interactions will enable users to answer or reject calls, interact with messages, manage notifications, and more without verbal communication. AirPods Pro users can benefit from enhanced wireless audio latency during gaming, offering improved voice quality and a dedicated development API for integrating immersive audio experiences into games with advanced sound design.
