According to a recent report by Neowin, Apple may delay the launch of its new low-cost iPad and iPad mini until the end of 2024. This information was revealed by Mark Gurman, a reputable Bloomberg journalist, who stated that Apple is focusing on upgrading its high-end iPad models, the iPad Pro and iPad Air, which are expected to be launched in the first week of May.

While users may have to wait until the end of 2024 for a new version of the standard iPad and iPad mini, some slight improvements can be expected in the new iPad mini, such as an upgraded processor chip. The standard model, on the other hand, is likely to be a cheaper version of the current model.

The new iPad Pro and iPad Air, which are expected to be equipped with OLED screens and powerful M3 chips manufactured by Apple, may have a higher selling price than their current versions. The new iPad Air is expected to be released in both a 10.9-inch version and a larger 12.9-inch version. Additionally, new versions of accessories such as the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil will also be launched at the same time as both Pro and Air models.

In the same report, Gurman also revealed that Apple is researching the production of a folding-screen iPad, but this project is still in its early stages, and the company has not yet made a final decision on whether or not to produce it.
