Nintendo confirmed that it will not attend Gamescom 2024

Nintendo, a well-known gaming company, has announced that it will not participate in the upcoming Gamescom 2024 exhibition in Cologne, Germany. This news has come as a surprise to many fans since Nintendo is a regular participant in major gaming events such as Gamescom. However, according to reliable sources, Nintendo’s absence from this year’s event is because the company is focusing all its efforts on developing and launching a new generation gaming console, which is expected to be released in early 2025.

In February of this year, reports suggested that Nintendo had postponed the launch of its next-generation Switch console from 2024 to early 2025. The primary reasons given for this delay are to ensure that exclusive games for the new console are perfect and provide players with immersive and engaging gameplay experiences. Additionally, the company wants to avoid potential hardware supply issues by being more proactive in ensuring the supply of components.

Nintendo’s decision not to participate in Gamescom 2024 is considered a significant loss for the event. However, many other game publishers will still be present at the exhibition, promising to bring many new and exciting titles for players to explore.
