Nvidia is about to ‘revive’ the RTX Titan GPU, which is stronger than the RTX 5090

Nvidia is rumored to be preparing for the launch of a new iteration of the RTX Titan GPU, possibly named the RTX Titan AI, to rival the RTX 5090. The upcoming GPU is anticipated to utilize the same GB202 chip as the RTX 5090 but with enhanced features including full CUDA cores, a potentially wider 512-bit memory bus, and increased VRAM. These enhancements are projected to yield approximately a 10% performance boost over the RTX 5090.

It’s important to emphasize that the RTX Titan AI is geared towards professionals requiring robust graphics and AI processing capabilities rather than targeting gamers. Nevertheless, due to its exceptional performance, it may attract gamers seeking top-tier performance, albeit at a high price point.

Rumors also hint at a 48% performance increase for the RTX 5090 compared to the RTX 4090, and substantial improvements for the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 over their predecessors. However, these figures are provisional and subject to change before the products’ official release.

While details about the RTX Titan AI are still unconfirmed, its potential introduction could significantly impact the high-end GPU market, ushering in heightened competition among manufacturers. Users can look forward to the imminent arrival of more robust and cutting-edge products.
