Opera for Android 59 adds the ability to pay online

Opera has officially announced Opera version for Android 59 comes with some new features, including Payment Request API, improved website settings

According to Neowin, the payment request API is the most famous addition to this increase. The company said that with more and more online shopping activities, demand for standards such as the W3C recognized payment request API will increase.

This special API allows websites to access customer information such as addresses, contact information, and payment details, saving customers time and energy. Opera recognizes that this API is not yet widely used, but introducing it to your browser is the basis for its use.

Also in this update, Opera takes advantage of the opportunity to improve specialized application handling to help users easily decide whether they want to open a website in a browser or switch to an external application. This is a function that will be useful on sites like YouTube and Reddit. To access this setting, users simply press the green padlock in the omnibar bar, where they will also find the setting to control permissions

The company also included some of the latest developments around cryptocurrencies in its browser, but it has now been removed from the Opera website. It is unclear why the information was removed but it may not have been officially announced. Just know that people in the UK can buy cryptocurrencies from inside Opera’s wallet thanks to a partnership with the Ramp Network and the Dapp store.

Users can update the Opera for Android 59 application from the Google Play Store.
