Oppo launched the new Air Glass 3 smart glasses at MWC 2024

Oppo has just launched a prototype of its new generation of reality glasses that support Air Glass 3, at the MWC 2024 event (Spain).

Oppo Air Glass 3 can access AndesGPT, a large language model developed by Oppo, through a smartphone for a smooth artificial intelligence (AI) experience.

In addition, at this year’s MWC, Oppo joined hands with Qualcomm Technologies Corporation and startup AlpsenTek to introduce a new AI Motion algorithm based on Hybrid Vision Sensing technology, bringing higher clarity when taking photos and videos of high-speed moving objects

Weighing only 50 grams, Oppo Air Glass 3 is integrated with a self-developed plastic waveguide with a refractive index of 1.70, a screen brightness uniformity of more than 50%, and a maximum brightness of more than 1,000 nits. These parameters ensure that Oppo Air Glass 3 provides a wearing experience almost like a regular pair of glasses, while also possessing the best color display among glasses of the same type.

Thanks to the ability to access Oppo AndesGPT through the Air Glass application on smartphones, users just need to lightly press the side of the glasses frame to activate the AI ​​voice assistant and start performing tasks.

Oppo Air Glass 3 also supports touch interaction, which can be used to easily control functions such as playing music, calling, displaying information, viewing color photos, etc. The device also supports islanding technology. reverse sound field, open acoustic design with four microphones, and other innovations improve noise cancellation for good sound quality and privacy protection
