Pixel 9 Pro features revealed

The latest images published on MySmartPrice provide quite an interesting look at the design of the Pixel 9 Pro that Google is about to launch.

Accordingly, the Pixel 9 Pro will come with a 6.5-inch screen, slightly reduced compared to the 6.7-inch Super Actua Display OLED panel currently equipped on the Pixel 8 Pro. The front design lines look quite seamless and it has a punch-hole display for the selfie camera on the front.

The changes become much more noticeable when looking at the device from different angles, where the phone is surrounded by thin bezels and flat edges. The back of the phone also appears to be completely flat.

Another big change is evident in the camera module as Google says goodbye to the rectangular ribbon design in favor of an ‘oval island’ that houses all the sensors and lights flash. There’s no word on specific improvements in this section, but MySmartPrice suggests we could see a camera with variable aperture support.

The phone will measure 162.7mm high, 76.6mm wide, and 8.5mm thick (increasing to 12mm if the camera protrusion is included). Unlike current models, the Pixel 9 Pro will also change the position of the SIM card tray, placing it at the bottom, next to the USB-C port and speaker.
