Sony just opened the curtain on free PlayStation Plus games in April 2021. Because every month since the PS5 was released, customers can order 3 games. As usual, two titles for the PS4, but also one game for the PS5.
And if the Play at Home initiative – which allows you to grab nine excellent PS4 and PlayStation VR games – won’t win you over, Sony has just unveiled the new “free” games for April. After Final Fantasy VII Remake, Farpoint, Remnant: From the Ashes and Maquette, here are the games to add for free to your PS4 and PS5 game library, from Tuesday April 6 to Tuesday May 4, 2021:
Oddworld : Soulstorm (PS5)
This is the sequel to the Oddworld video game: New ‘N’ Tasty. Similar to its predecessor, the game is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer. The protagonist Abe returns and his objective is to save his fellow mudokons from slave labor. The game features a new crafting system in which Abe can craft and customize various weapons.
Days Gone (PS4)
Set in post-apocalyptic Oregon two years after the start of a global pandemic, former outlaw-turned-vagabond Deacon St. John discovers the possibility that his wife Sarah is still alive, which leads Deacon to the find. Days Gone is played from a third-person perspective, where the player can explore an open-world environment. A major game mechanic is Deacon’s Motorcycle, which is used as the player character’s primary mode of transportation as well as mobile inventory.
Zombie Army 4 : Dead War (PS4)
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a third-person shooter video game set in 1946, a year after Adolf Hitler was defeated by the Resistance and banished to Hell. This is a game from the developers of Sniper Elite.
