PS4, PS5: Sony offers 10 games including Horizon Zero Dawn with Play at Home

To “brighten up the next few months,” Sony is continuing its Play at Home initiative. Starting March 26, you’ll be able to download 10 great games for PS4 and PS5 to download for free, including Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witness, and more. Here’s the information.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is rampant, Sony is helping gamers. Its Play At Home initiative, which consists of offering games to players to encourage them to stay at home, has recently been updated. No need for a Sony account or PS Plus subscription. Last year, Uncharted and Journey games were free-limited.

That’s why Sony decided to offer 10 games to players on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. As the Japanese company stated, Play At Home will “provide the PlayStation community with free games and entertainment to brighten up the next few months.”. The initiative will start on March 26, 2021, with the arrival of several independent games, and is expected to end in June.

Nine games will be available from March 26 through April 23, including the indie games Abzû, Enter the Gungeon, Rez Infinite, Subnautica and The Witness. If you have a PlayStation VR, you can also have fun with the excellent Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper, and Paper Beast.

Then, from April 20 until May 15, 2021, Horizon Zero Dawn, one of the open-world PS4 nuggets from Guerrilla Games, will also be offered. As a reminder, you can still claim the Ratchet & Clank game for free until April 1. Also, remember that no PlayStation Plus account is required to redeem these games for free.

No doubt these 10 free games are all huge hits that will occupy our evenings (and weekends) to come. As a reminder, on PS5, the launch windows of many games have been announced, including the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, named Horizon Forbidden West.
