It has been reported that Microsoft has addressed a reboot error in the recent Windows 11 update, but this fix has led to a new problem with the taskbar. The new issue affects the taskbar’s functionality on certain devices, especially on Windows N versions or when Media Features are manually disabled. Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and is actively working on a solution.
The previous update also caused a significant problem, resulting in some PCs entering a continuous reboot loop, particularly on machines with nested virtualization enabled. Users affected by this issue had to remove the update manually to restore their systems.
While the update in question is optional, users are advised to proceed with caution and may want to delay installation until Microsoft issues a comprehensive patch. The official release of this update is expected by the end of July, at which point users may not be able to avoid the update.
This isn’t the first time Windows 11 has encountered issues this year. The operating system has faced criticism for its stability, excessive advertising, and various bugs impacting the user experience, including distorted video problems in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.
