Resident Evil 4’s expansion will be released next week

The Separate Ways extension of the Resident Evil 4 remake will be released on September 21.

According to Gaming Bolt, the excellent remake of Resident Evil 4 is expected to receive a ton of new content in the coming weeks and months. Accordingly, not only is there a dedicated VR mode for PlayStation VR2 expected to launch later this year, but the game will receive a free update for Mercenaries mode and the Separate Ways expansion in a week.

Besides the game’s DLC (extension) announcement, the PlayStation Blog post also revealed new details that Capcom will bring in the upcoming update. Accordingly, Separate Ways will focus on the character Ada Wong and tell her stories, thereby providing a new perspective on the events in Resident Evil 4 .

Besides the main character Ada, the new DLC will also add several important characters including her teammate Luis Serra, as well as the series’ long-standing villain Albert Wesker.

Meanwhile, in terms of gameplay, in addition to returning to the basic game’s existing mechanics such as parrying knives and weapons, there will also be special ways to equip Ada with a new, capable gun. the ability to reach specific locations and take down enemies at long range.
