Revealing Apple Watch style Smart Band 8 Pro

Xiaomi is said to be preparing to launch a new low-cost fitness tracker called Smart Band 8 Pro with many interesting features to succeed last year’s Smart Band 7 Pro.

According to Android Authority, details about the design and features of the Smart Band 8 Pro smart bracelet have now been revealed by Xiaomi on the company’s Weibo account, showing that the product seems to carry the design of the Apple Watch. It’s a strap model with a rectangular face and curved edges

Xiaomi says Smart Band 8 Pro is equipped with a 1.74-inch screen with a pixel density of 336 ppi. This makes it slightly larger than the screen on its predecessor and slightly smaller than the screen of the Apple Watch Series 8.

The Chinese manufacturer also mentioned some features that will be coming to the next-generation wearable, such as widget support and the ability to set wallpapers from personal photo albums. In the first case, users can create widgets for heart rate monitoring, entertainment playback, step counting, and weather.

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Smart Band 8 Pro along with the Mix Fold 3 in China on August 14. However, there is no information on the release date or global price of the product yet. Predictions suggest that this device will cost around $120
