ASUS is gearing up for the launch of the second generation of its handheld gaming console, ROG Ally X, reportedly set to debut on June 2. Recent leaks from VideoCardz have unveiled significant enhancements to the device, generating a buzz within the gaming community.

One of the standout improvements is the inclusion of a substantially larger battery, boasting a capacity of 80Wh – twice the size of its predecessor. This upgrade promises extended gaming sessions, catering to the demands of avid gamers. Despite the increased battery size, the device’s weight is expected to only increase by 70 grams, thanks to a more streamlined fan design, ensuring a comfortable handheld experience.

Furthermore, the ROG Ally X will feature an additional USB-C port with USB4 speed, offering rapid connectivity and data transfer capabilities. While the device will retain the same processor and screen as its predecessor, it will see a significant RAM upgrade to 24GB, enhancing processing power and multitasking performance.

Although ASUS has not yet provided official details, these leaks suggest that the ROG Ally X will pose a strong challenge in the handheld gaming console market, boasting valuable upgrades in battery life, connectivity, and overall performance.
