Safari on Mac supports 4K quality YouTube viewing

On the latest Mac versions, users can easily play 4K quality YouTube videos in the Safari browser. The good news for Mac users is that in the upcoming macOS Big Sur 11 Beta 4, the Safari browser will be supported by Apple with the ability to watch YouTube videos in 4K quality. The upgrade will be available to all Mac users who upgrade to Big Sur this fall, according to a post by Rene Richie on Twitter.

Up until now, streaming YouTube videos on Safari on macOS was limited to 1080p, and users had to use Chrome on macOS to watch YouTube in 4K.

This feature is currently only available to people who have macOS Big Sur 11 Beta 4 installed. of that release or not.

Regardless of which version, however, this is a welcome improvement, and it looks like all Mac users are looking forward to it.
