Samsung finalizes the launch date of a new series of folding phones

Samsung is likely to launch a series of next-generation folding phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4, with an earlier launch schedule than before.

According to Neowin, leak expert Evan Blass has just posted information that Samsung plans to launch folding phones, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 on August 10. company Korean also planned to hold an event called “Unfold Your World” to officially launch its next-generation folding phones.

This rollout schedule is in line with a leak from Jon Prosser earlier when he claimed 10.8 as the official launch date of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4. So most likely this will be the exact launch time.

Samsung usually announces “Fold” and “Flip” folding devices on the same day. Previously, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 were officially launched on August 11 at Samsung’s “Unpacked” event. As such, their successor models will arrive a day earlier, but the difference this time is that the device will not be launched at an event called “Unpacked”.

Going back to the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3, these products were announced on August 11, before starting to hit shelves a few days later. If the information from Jon Prosser is correct, the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 may be officially on the market on August 26.

Besides the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 duo, Samsung will also launch the Galaxy Watch5 series at the event on August 10.
