It has been speculated that Samsung might reintroduce the Note brand after a hiatus of 5 years, coinciding with the launch of the next generation of the Galaxy S series. This move could potentially bring back the beloved S Pen feature, which has been integrated into the top-tier Galaxy S smartphone line since the discontinuation of the Note series.

According to prominent leaker, Ice Universe, the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a design with slightly rounded corners, as opposed to sharp edges, to provide a more comfortable grip. Additionally, it is reported that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will offer a superior “horizontal screen to body ratio” compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

In earlier leaks, Ice Universe suggested that the Galaxy S25 Ultra would boast a narrower body and a wider screen, creating a more compact form factor without compromising on screen size. Other rumors indicate upgrades such as a faster processor, new ultra-wide and telephoto cameras, and an increased amount of RAM. There is also speculation that the device may be rebranded as a part of the Note series, potentially named Galaxy S25 Note or Galaxy Note 25.

Furthermore, it has been suggested that Samsung may alter the naming convention of its “Plus” model to “Pro” to position itself competitively against devices like the Pixel 9 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro.
