Some iPad Pro models have a boot loop issue

Records on the Apple community website show that a device owner wrote in early May that his device restarts every 30-45 seconds, even when no applications are open. This starts with the iPadOS 13.4.1 update. In April, a user also announced that their 10.5-inch iPad Pro will continue to restart after an update to this update.

Not stopping with the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, a recent post in Apple’s community forum also complained that their 11-inch iPad Pro also reboots every 10 minutes.

According to one user, the update and restart did not help but forced them to reset the hardware. On later iPad Pro models, this can be done by pressing and releasing the volume button then pressing the volume button. The next step is to hold the power button on the top of the device. Now the slider to turn off is displayed. All users have to do is press the power button until the Apple logo appears. The tablet will then be launched on the lock screen.

However, some users said that even the above operations did not fix the problem with their iPad Pro. An iPad Pro owner said he tried to reset his iPad Pro factory twice but to no avail.

Currently, Apple has not responded to the issue and it is unknown whether it will only affect a small number of iPad users. It is also unclear whether the problem occurred because of the update of iPadOS 13.4.1. Hopefully, Apple will investigate and find the problem soon.
