Suspected invitation to the iPhone 16 launch event was leaked

The upcoming Apple special event is scheduled to take place on September 10 at Apple Park, where the tech giant is expected to unveil the much-anticipated iPhone 16 series. Rumors suggest that a copper color version will be reserved for the high-end models, as indicated in a leaked invitation image.

While Apple typically sends out invitations a few weeks before the launch event, a leaked image presumed to be an invitation to the event has surfaced. The image, shared by well-known leaker Majin Bu, showcases the title “Ready. Set. Capture” alongside the Apple logo with a bronze gradient effect, a color rumored to be exclusive to the iPhone 16 Pro models. The invitation invites recipients to “join us live” at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park, California, on September 10, 2024, at 10 a.m.

Despite the familiarity of the invitation format, questions remain about its authenticity. It’s worth noting that it is uncommon to receive Apple Park event invitations this early, with announcements typically occurring toward the end of August. While there is uncertainty surrounding the source of the leaked image, historical data indicates that September 10 is a probable date for Apple’s iPhone 16 launch event.
