The first update of Windows 11 in 2022

Microsoft has just introduced the first update for Windows 11 in 2022, through the development channel with build 22526 with a few interesting changes.

According to Gadgetendency, the new updated version of Windows 11 will bring some points such as the company’s experiment to display Alt + Tab in the window instead of the full screen for some Insider program users; support for the broadband voice was added when using AirPods products, improving the sound quality of voice calls.

Additionally, as of build 22518, Credential Guard is now enabled by default on enterprise-connected Windows 11 Enterprise (E3 and E5) licensed computers; and Microsoft is testing indexing more file locations to make it faster to use searching for important files in File Explorer.

In addition, version 22526 also brings small changes and bug fixes such as fixing the problem that if the user uses File Explorer search and then explorer.exe fails, the next time the File Explorer search will be inactive; another fix was made to fix the problem with the recent searches pop-up menu on the screen (transparent except for the border) stuck; improved the resolution of app icons that show up in search results when the display ratio is set to more than 100%.

In addition, the update also fixes an issue where the widgets panel might not have the correct resolution when hovering over the entry point on the second monitor; The Microsoft Store will no longer display the 0x80073CFB error message when trying to install the latest Web Media Extension update; fixed a DWM issue affecting some Insider members…
