The Huawei Watch Fit will have the same design as the Apple Watch

Although Huawei has gradually created its own identity for its devices in recent years, some of the company’s upcoming smartwatch functions will likely be based on Apple watches.

According to PhoneArena, the smartwatch is expected to be called Huawei Watch Fit. Based on the recently leaked images, it looks like the Apple Watch stretched out in an aluminum case features side buttons instead of numeric keys.

The product has an AMOLED screen of 1.64 inches and supports a resolution of 456 x 280p. The watch also offers 5ATM water resistance and several sensors such as heart rate monitor, GPS, accelerometer, and an ambient light sensor.

By using the Fit branding, Huawei has almost certainly designed the watch to focus on exercise. Users can track a wide range of physical activities including walking, running, swimming, indoor and outdoor cycling. The watch can track sleep and perform stress testing, as well as support a variety of breathing exercises.

The device also comes with Huawei’s own Kirin A1 chip. The battery capacity on the device is unknown, but rumors say it will provide up to 10 days of use on a single charge.

As planned, the Huawei Watch Fit will soon launch with a retail price of 119 EUR in the European market. The product provides users with choices of black, mint green, orange and sand pink.
