The next iPhone SE will have an iPhone XR-like design

The next-generation version of the iPhone SE could make this budget phone look more like the iPhone XR, including a 6.1-inch LCD with a notch.

According to the AppleInsider version, the third-generation iPhone SE mainly includes internal upgrades, but its successor could bring much more, based on the latest report from analyst Ross Young. In October 2021, this analyst said that the next iPhone SE would have LCD screens from 5.7 inches to 6.1 inches, but now he says the iPhone SE will switch to 6.1-inch screens with a notch.

Besides, Mr. Young also predicts that the iPhone SE 2024 will be added to Dynamic Island. If this information is correct, Apple could bring Dynamic Island to all four flagship iPhone models introduced by the company next fall.

The switch to an edge-to-edge screen also means Apple will have to get rid of the traditional Home button that this model has long equipped, although the notch does not necessarily mean Apple switches to Face ID. This makes perfect sense, given that there have been hints of switching to a Touch ID system embedded in the power button, like the iPad Air. Mr. Young’s claims appear to align with previous reports about the device.

In December 2021, analyst Ming-chi Kuo predicted that the larger-screen iPhone SE model would launch in 2023. In August, there was speculation that Apple could use a design similar to the iPhone XR for the iPhone. Next SE. This information is entirely in line with Apple’s design trends, which applied the older popular smartphone design to the iPhone SE.
