Users need a Microsoft account and internet to install Windows 11 Pro

Windows 11 Insider Preview build 22557 is reported to come with many improvements and features, but some improvements may make users unhappy.

A report from the Windows Insider blog says that users will need to have an internet connection to install Windows 1 Pro. This is required for the initial setup of the computer, which was previously only applied to the installation of Windows 11 Home.

Not only that, the installation is also required to integrate closely with the Microsoft account. Specifically, when installing Windows 11 Pro, users must use their own account, and creating a local account will no longer work.

Such a move could upset users hoping to avoid remote assessment and data collection in Windows. It is not clear when the new functions will be included in the final version of this operating system.

In addition to the aforementioned new points, the upcoming version of Windows 11 is also testing new graphics settings to optimize window-based games and Auto HDR. Earlier, Microsoft released the first major update to Windows 11 to enable Android app launch (currently limited to US only), redesigned taskbar, updated Notepad and Media Player.
