watchOS 9.4 launches with many new features

Apple has begun rolling out a new feature update to its operating system for its smartwatches, watchOS 9.4.
According to Engadget, watchOS 9.4 is now available for download on compatible Apple Watch models, bringing improvements to alarms, menstrual cycle tracking, and AFib History support in new regions

Specifically, the alarm feature is no longer muted when the user uses a cover-to-mute gesture to prevent accidentally canceling the alarm during sleep, menstrual cycle tracking can estimate the shedding history of eggs and cycle deviation warnings. Meanwhile, AFib History is now available in Ukraine, Moldova, Colombia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

All Apple Watch variants compatible with previous watchOS 9 releases can download and install version 9.4. The list of supported models includes Apple Watch Series 4, Apple Watch Series 5, Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE second generation, and Apple Watch Ultra.

Installing the Apple Watch’s latest update requires at least an iPhone 8 and running iOS 16. To update watchOS 9.4, users can use an iPhone and then go to the Watch app > General > Software Update. Installing watchOS 9.4 requires a minimum of 50% battery and placing the watch on the charger
