WhatsApp Upcoming Features: These fun features will be introduced soon from multiple device support to advanced search

The WhatsApp instant messaging platform continues to offer many new features to give users a better user experience. The company has recently set limits on forwarding messages to handle fake messages. From now on, users will no longer be able to forward every forwarding message to more than one person. At the same time, new updates have now been published under the video call function, which allows video calls from up to 4 people at the same time. People don’t need to be edited separately to group hangouts. In addition, the company is working on several features that can be very useful for users. Here we give you information about similar functions.

Advanced Search

Under this feature, a magnifying glass icon will be seen as equal to the forwarded message. By clicking on this icon, users will be able to search documents, videos, images and audio files on the web. This will let you know where any forward message is coming from. This feature has been rolled out for the iOS beta program. At the same time, its Android version can also be introduced soon.

Protect Backup

This feature is currently in testing. This was seen in the Android beta v2.20.66 version. Under this feature, users will be able to apply a password on their chat backup. It will act as an additional layer under security. According to the information of WABetaInfo, this password will not be saved on the servers of WhatsApp or Facebook. In such a situation, if you forget your password, you will not be able to recover your chat history. However, only after the introduction of this feature, something can be said correctly about all its features and flaws.

Auto-download

This feature will prove beneficial for users. Under this feature, no frequent forward images, videos, documents and voice messages will be automatically downloaded. At present, the company provides this option, so all the media files coming on users’ phones can be put on auto-download.

Mutiple Device Support

This feature was spotted in Whatsapp beta version v2.20.110. This feature can be rolled out soon for Android and iOS users. Under this feature, users will be able to access their accounts on more than one device. Talking about the current situation, users can access their account in PC through WhatsApp Web in addition to their smartphone right now.

Delete Message

As the name suggests, this feature will allow users to delete any message. Users will also be able to decide when the message should be deleted. Some time ago WhatsApp released two new updates to the Google Play Beta program. Their versions were 2.20.83 and 2.20.84. Both of them had the Delete Messages feature for individual chats. However, before that, it was being said that this feature would be rolled out only for group chat. Currently, this feature is in the testing phase itself.
