Windows 11 Moment 5 update causes a series of problems

Recently, many Windows 11 users have reported facing various issues after updating to Moment 5. According to TechRadar, the April cumulative update for Windows 11 is causing problems such as the ‘white screen of death’ error and difficulty in installing the update.

As per the report by Windows Latest, some users have encountered problems while trying to install the Moment 5 update, with error codes like ‘0x800705b9’ appearing on their screens. Even reinstalling the update didn’t solve the problem, leaving users with no option but to wait for Microsoft to fix the issue or manually update their system using the Media Creation Tool.

Another issue that many users have faced is the ‘white screen of death’ error, which occurs after the successful installation of the Moment 5 update. This leaves users stuck on a blank white screen with only a few small icons, which could be a part of some setup steps after updating Windows. Though disconnecting the internet connection may help the system boot back to the desktop, this problem can recur and become quite frustrating.
