Xiaomi launches smarter robot dog CyberDog 2

Xiaomi has just introduced CyberDog 2, an improved version of the CyberDog smart dog both in design as well as smart features to make it more like a dog.

According to GearRice, Xiaomi has adapted CyberDog 2 to be smaller and lighter than its predecessor, with a weight of only 8.9 kg and a height of 36.7 cm. It consists of one RGB camera, one camera powered by artificial intelligence (AI), and four ToF sensors. All of this is supported by a LiDAR sensor, a depth camera, an ultrasonic sensor, a fisheye lens sensor, a force sensor, and two Ultra Wide Band sensors

Thanks to all the new sensors, CyberDog 2 is able to perform more realistic movements and synchronization, achieving surprising balance. In addition, it is smarter when it can perform actions at the command of its owner such as following, simulating drinking or eating, performing stunts

Xiaomi said the company only launched CyberDog 2 in China, which means the product is difficult to reach the global market. Robot dogs come in several options, both in shape and color. The price of this robot is about 1,783 USD
