However, by the end of this year, the company will make a new version of Gmail available to all G Suite customers.

Rooms in Gmail will be exactly like Slack rooms, where people will be able to work together in partnership with the same team on real time. According to a CNET report, in the new version of the new Gmail, people will be able to chat without swapping tabs, swap files. Also be able to edit Google Docs. Javier Soltero, head of Google’s G-Suite Division for Productivity App, said that the new version of Gmail will enable people to work collectively.
