Zoom, WebEx, and Chrome are pre-installed in Android Auto

Google has just announced support for a series of new apps on Android Auto with the two most notable being WebEx and Zoom.

Google says this helps users schedule online meetings on the go. However, for safety reasons, you are only allowed to use these two applications in audio mode when driving a car.

Additionally, the company is offering Prime Video streaming for cars while parked. However, the Prime Video app is currently only available for select Renault, Polestar, and Volvo vehicles. Google said it will bring the app to other car brands shortly, according to Arenaev.

Additionally, Chrome also comes pre-installed on Android Auto, which is a big step forward because previously users could only use Chrome through the Vivaldi app.

The Weather Channel app also appears on Google Play exclusively for Android Auto, providing hourly weather forecasts and sending notifications about bad weather conditions.

Other notable features include Trip View functionality, which lets you share your trip with someone, and digital key support for Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia vehicles in the US and Canada. If you have a compatible Pixel or Samsung phone, you can also share digital keys with friends and family
