Anthropic is the company behind Claude 2, ChatGPT’s rival chatbot. Claude 2 is capable of summarizing text up to about 75,000 words, equal to the length of a book. Users can input large data sets and ask the chatbot to summarize them in the form of a memo, letter, or story. Meanwhile, ChatGPT can only handle about 3,000 words.
In July, Daniela Amodei said Anthropic spent at least 2 months developing the latest chatbot, the company has a team of 30 – 35 people working directly on the AI model and has a total of 150 people supporting it. support.
According to research by machine learning monitoring platform Arthur AI, Claude 2 is the most reliable chatbot in terms of self-awareness, meaning its ability to accurately assess what it knows and doesn’t know. Additionally, Claude 2 only answers questions for which it has training data.
Anthropic was also among four companies invited to attend a meeting at the White House to discuss responsible AI development with US Vice President Kamala Harris. Next, Anthropic raised $450 million in May.
