The instant messaging application has a bad news for it users because it will stop supporting several platforms after 31 December. The company has provided this information for some time. At the same time, Whatsapp explained in its FAQ that on December 31, support for devices running under the Windows operating system would be stopped. At the same time, it will no longer work on several Android and iOS devices starting February 1, 2020.
Whatsapp has started giving information to its users that if you use Symbian operating system then after December 31, Whatsapp will be closed in your phone. That is, you have to switch to another operating system. Whatsapp will now be completely closed on Windows. At the same time, it will not be used on some Android and iOS devices from February 1, 2020.
The company says that if you are using Android 2.3.7 or older then after 1 February 2020 Whatsapp will not support in your phone. At the same time, you will not be able to use Whatsapp even on iOS 8 or below.
Whatsapp has also made it clear that in these phones based on PURON OS, users will not be able to create a new account nor will they be able to revalidate their existing account. In such a situation, if Windows Phone users want to use WhatsApp without any interruption, then after December 31, they will have to buy a new phone and before that do not forget to backup WhatsApp chat. WhatsApp has been removed from the Microsoft Store on 1 July 2019.
