Apple has just officially released iOS 16.0.3 – a small bug-fixing update that came a few weeks after the iOS 16 operating system was introduced.
According to MacRumors , iOS 16.0.3 is now available to download via OTA protocol for eligible iPhones. Users can go to the Settings app > General > Software update to download and install the latest update for their iPhone.
Based on Apple’s notes, iOS 16.0.3 will help address some of the errors iPhone users have experienced over the past few weeks, including incoming calls and app notifications that may or may not be delivered. send on iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max; low microphone volume may occur during CarPlay phone calls on iPhone 14 models; the camera may start up or switch between modes on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max slowly; and Mail app crashes on launch after receiving malformed email.
It is known that the CarPlay bug causes iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max users to experience low volume when trying to make hands-free calls in the car. The problem causes callers to sound low or distant when speaking and makes it difficult for them to hear.
Meanwhile, camera issues caused some users to report that in some cases, the Camera app started working with a delay of up to 4 or 5 seconds from launch.
It is currently unclear if Apple has fixed the intermittent flickering screen issue on some iPhone 12 Pro/12 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro/13 Pro Max models after the iOS 16 inter-upgrade .
iOS 16.0.3 will likely be the last release of iOS 16.0.x before Apple unveils iOS 16.1 – the operating system that will launch with iPadOS 16.1 this month.
