AirPods Pro 2 will have 3 new features

At the developer conference – WWDC 2023 just took place, Apple announced 3 new features that are coming to AirPods Pro 2 through a software update this fall.

AirPods Pro 2 was released by Apple in September 2022, owning an H2 processor that significantly improves sound quality, latency and connectivity.

According to the update, AirPods Pro 2 will have 3 more features: Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness and Personalized Volume. Apple has created 3 more separate sound profiles for AirPods Pro 2 to enhance the user experience.

Adaptive Audio combines Transparency and Active noise cancellation modes for a mix of the two according to the situation. When activated, this mode will both suppress background noise and enable crosstalk to still hear sounds close to the user

Conversation Awareness works in a similar way to AirPods Pro 2, which uses machine learning to focus on the conversation, while blocking out background noise. And the Personalized Volume feature is useful when users want to chat with the person next to them outdoors, then this mode will reduce the music volume and focus on the sound near them.

Apple has also rolled out a feature that makes it easier for AirPods models to switch between devices. Called Auto-Switch, the new feature allows AirPods to connect to a user’s device as they use it. With AirPods 3, AirPods Max, and AirPods Pro, Apple is also about to introduce a new mute and unmute feature, allowing users to manually mute and unmute by simply pressing a button
