Android users will be able to react to iMessage

The war between Google and Apple over the RCS protocol is in full swing. Apple does not want to hear anything. Google finally offers a solution for Android users to react to iMessage.

Remember the answer given by Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, the last time he was asked about Google’s proposal to switch to RCS: “The solution is simple, buy an iPhone”

Google is now aware that it is no longer helpful to relaunch the Cupertino company for support for the RCS protocol. In a recent report posted on Reddit, Google decided to make a move for the reactions to the posts. Indeed, an update on the Android side will offer support for reactions to messages between Android and Apple users.

Google has a rather simple idea: transmit information in the form of a sentence to translate it into a smiley. This is the only solution for Apple customers to get reactions to messages using the RCS protocol. However, we have no information on when this update will be deployed.
