The general belief is that the Apple iPhone 2020 will revolutionize the iPhone series as we know it. That’s because the iPhone 2020 will be the first iPhone in Apple’s three-year cycle that will start again next year.

What will the iPhone 2020 be called
Apple has caused terminological cancer since the launch of the iPhone X (pronounced iPhone 10) in 2017. When consumers see it once, Apple makes things even more complicated with the announcement of the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR in 2018.

New Face ID
Many reliable leaks claim that Apple will introduce a smaller slot for the iPhone 2020, possibly a narrower slot. Previously, Apple’s AMS provider had announced new camera sensor technology that would allow proximity sensors for IR and RBG light to be used in Apple FaceID to be under the screen.
A small value increases the image-to-picture ratio of the device. The drawback, however, is that the slot will remain for at least three more years because Apple will likely continue to design after its cycle.
