Apple Music has just received a series of feature enhancements in iOS 14, including autoplay, fully optimized layout for iPad, and animated artwork for playlists.
According to 9to5Google, people prefer cartoons to ordinary poster art. this week, iOS 14 users have noticed that Apple Music has some of the prominent playlists in the Listen Now tab is on the move.
This applies to personalized music and some of Apple’s managed playlists. The animations appear in the new poster-sized carousel in the Listen Now tag. Initial estimates show that there are animations with fast movement speed, while the artwork will move much slower and more gradually. The addition of motion also explains why Apple updates the images it uses for blends, from flat color arrays to new layered gradients / waves.
At least in the current beta version, animated clips are shown only on the Listen Now tab, with the playlist introduced in new sections with a poster-style layout. Meanwhile, Browse tab and click the playlist page details, the artwork displayed in standard static form.
It is likely that Apple will deploy many of these cartoon artwork when iOS 14 officially launches. It is likely that Apple will release beta 2 to developers of iOS 14 and a public beta will launch this month. Apple is expected to release iOS 14 to all iPhone and iPad users in the fall, possibly in September or early October.
