Apple released iOS 14.0.1 which fixes many bugs on the iPhone

Apple has just released the first iOS 14.0.1 patch for iOS 14 to fix the default app selection problem on the original version, and also released iPadOS 14.0.1 and watchOS 7.0.1.

As per Theverge, one of the cool new features of iOS 14 is the ability to set your own default mail and browser applications, yet analyzers saw after they restarted their device, the default will be reset to Mail or Safari.

Now, when a user defaults to his preferred browser to Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, while the default message to Gmail, Outlook, or Spark, they stay the same even after restarting.

In the release notes, Apple also added that iOS 14.0.1 will fix issues that may cause camera previews to not display on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, prevent the iPhone from connecting over Wi-Fi, and prevents the image from appearing in the News widget and some other errors.

If the phone hasn’t received the notification to download the update, you can find it by going to Settings> General> Software Update.
