Facebook’s Messenger has recently introduced a range of new features that are now available to users in more markets globally. One of the most noteworthy and exciting updates is the ability to send and receive high-quality (HD) images, which effectively reduces blurring and ensures superior image quality. While this feature has been available in some major markets, including the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, and Korea, it is now accessible to users in many other countries.
In addition to HD images, Messenger has also increased its maximum file capacity to 100 MB, which means users can now share all popular file formats, including Word, PDF, Excel, and Zip, with ease. Users can also share connections with friends via QR codes and create joint albums with chat groups, making it easier to share and organize precious moments with friends and relatives.
To send an HD image, users can simply select the desired photo from their device’s library and tap the HD icon on the right side of the screen before hitting “Send.” Similarly, if they want to share multiple photos at once, they can select all the images they want to send and then tap the HD icon.
Moreover, the upcoming feature that allows users to create joint albums with chat groups will be a useful addition to the platform. It will provide users with a convenient way to share and organize photos and videos with their friends and family. Members of the group can add, delete, and download images and videos included in the album, making it easier to keep track of shared moments.
