The Last of Us Part I hardware and feature system requirements have been announced. According to Neowin, The Last of Us Part I is the latest PlayStation-exclusive game coming to the PC platform. This is a remake of the original game that was released in 2013, and the version for PlayStation 5 was released last September.
With the launch date recently updated, developer Naughty Dog has also revealed the full requirements for hardware specifications as well as features specific to the PC version.
Accordingly, the PC version will support an upgrade of AMD FSR 2.2 and NVIDIA DLSS technologies, as well as a range of adjustable graphics and joystick setup options. In addition, the game will also support 4K resolution and ultra-wide screens (21:9 and 32:9), as well as 3D audio.
Players using Sony’s DualSense controller on PC can also experience the same Haptic Feedback and Trigger features as the PlayStation version. To do this, the player needs to be wired to the computer.
According to Naughty Dog, the system only needs to be equipped with an RX 470 or GTX 970 graphics card to meet the minimum hardware specifications. However, there is a notable requirement that the game needs a fairly large storage space of up to 100 GB and must work on an SSD to ensure the fastest data processing speed.
The Last of Us Part I is coming to both Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 28. Fans can already pre-order it for $59.99. Sony is also offering a limited edition Firefly directly for $99.99 that comes with a SteelBook carrying case, American Dreams comic prints, and in-game giveaways.
