The new Bing experience powered by artificial intelligence (AI) developed by OpenAI is available now, where anyone can use it in “limited preview” on desktop .
According to The Verge , with this limit, users will have a limited number of queries, but Microsoft will soon allow users to sign up for full access. Specifically, by visiting Bing.com, users can see some search examples with the new interface. Clicking on them leads to a Bing search page with traditional results on the left and a chat window on the right, where the AI-generated answers are. Users will not be able to ask follow-up questions or clarify results until full access is granted.
Users can sign up for the waitlist at www.bing.com/new , and Microsoft says users will get higher priority if they sign in with their Microsoft account and set the default on their PC as well. like downloading Bing apps. Users will receive an email when the waitlist is complete and can access the new chat experience.
The company plans to roll out access to millions of people over the next few weeks, as well as rolling out a version of the experience on mobile devices.
