Samsung has announced the release of its Galaxy AI artificial intelligence tool, which will be available on its Galaxy S23 and Galaxy Z series smartphones, as well as on three tablet models, including the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Wi-Fi. The upgrade roadmap will be implemented in stages, with the first updates available from March 28th. Users in the US who purchase devices directly from Samsung’s official website or major carriers and retailers will be the first to receive the update, with unlocked devices and those purchased from smaller vendors beginning to update in April.
One UI 6.1, the new upgrade, will not only handle software errors and update patches as usual but will also provide enhanced AI capabilities to the Galaxy AI tool. This upgrade will provide users with more image editing capabilities on tablet models, making it a “worth the money” upgrade. Galaxy AI will be provided for free to users of supported devices until the end of 2025. The company has yet to announce its plans for the tool after this time.
