New features for WhatsApp on Windows

The new client notably allows group calls with 32 people simultaneously.

Whatsapp gets a makeover on Windows. Instant messaging with two million users, owned by the Meta group, benefits from a new version of its Windows client, and users can now use the Windows application even if their smartphone is switched off

Another novelty is the significant increase in the number of people simultaneously in group calls. As on the smartphone application, video calls can support eight people and thirty-two for audio calls.

For the past few months, the courier service has been in full renewal. In June 2022, Whatsapp unveiled a beta version of a Mac client and has also been testing an application optimized for Android tablets since September. The Meta company recalls that many improvements are possible since the introduction of new multi-device capabilities and in particular better synchronization
