Take-Two Interactive’s CEO himself gave a little hint about the highly anticipated GTA 6 installment of the longtime Grand Theft Auto game franchise.

According to ComicBook, Strauss Zelnick – the head of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games – has hinted at when GTA 6 will be released.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Zelnick was asked when the next Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game will be released. Zelnick of course won’t give an exact number, but he has explicitly hinted that the game will come out sometime in fiscal 2025, which runs between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025.

Specifically, the CEO of Take-Two said: “We have a very large portfolio of titles and have great prospects for fiscal 2025, with great confidence that the company will generate around 8 billion. USD pre-order money for the game”.

This is a pretty reliable suggestion given the direct nature of the question. Furthermore, there is only one game that has the potential to generate $8 billion in pre-release sales and that is GTA 6. But the most important question remains as to when the game will reach fans during this time period suggested above.

Currently, there are rumors that GTA 6 will be revealed later this year. If this happens, fall 2024 looks like a reasonable release date. Previously, GTA 5 was released in the fall, around September 2013. ‘ most recent release Not only that but Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption 2, was also released in the fall.

In other words, the fall of 2024 looks like a pretty reasonable bet. But the developer’s aforementioned games also had to go through some delays before their official release. ‘s 2025 release So assuming this happens again, then GTA 6 will be higher.

For now, all fans have about GTA 6 are speculations. Although CEO Zelnick has hinted at a release date, he’s not fully committed to it. And of course, even if that’s the plan, the plan is constantly changing over the course of the game’s development. Players will need to continue to wait a little longer to be able to experience a game that has been expected for nearly a decade.
