Samsung launches S Pen Creator Edition to compete with Apple Pencil

Samsung has launched the Creator Edition of the S Pen stylus for Galaxy devices with some highlights.

Samsung S Pen Creator Edition is a stylus for Galaxy smartphones and tablets, designed primarily for drawing and writing purposes. The new stylus has a thick design that is said to be more comfortable, as well as a new nib that fits snugly into the body of the pen. This new product model only has white color and the only button is used to interact with the software. The device was first announced in July alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 but recently went on sale for $99 in the US.

Samsung says this is the latest extension of users’ creativity, drawing inspiration from every pen stroke and turning ideas into reality thanks to the most tilt-sensitive S Pen ever.

The S Pen Creator Edition’s design looks like an “apple” stylus. With the second-generation Apple Pencil, the iPad maker has created a product that fits well in the hand and is quite natural to use. tablets Many Samsung also come with an S Pen in the box, but it’s generally a bit smaller, making it less comfortable to use. Therefore, Creator Edition is expected to fix this problem.

However, according to 9to5google, the product lacks many smart features that Samsung has added to the S Pen line over the years, notably not supporting Air Commands because this product does not have a battery. The product also does not support Galaxy Z Fold.

Price is also a notable issue, the S Pen with built-in battery that comes with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is only 60 USD, while the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is 55 USD.
